Candlewood Suites Williston by IHG

Really friendly staff, a great price, and probably the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

There was trash around the property, the hallways smelled awful, and when I moved to a different room I found an old used razor in the bathroom. It didn’t look like the cleaning staff had done a proper job. I also found the maintenance guy just walking around without doing anything, and there was often nobody at the front desk. The manager keeps a dog in her office, which I photographed and plan to send to corporate. The service felt very unprofessional. The manager with black hair had a terrible attitude, and the guy with pink hair would snatch things out of people’s hands. I’m not the only one who’s complained about the hotel and staff. I plan to contact higher management and corporate, with pictures and a recording of how staff talk to customers, along with photos of the property.

Ash is really quick and helpful when I’m picking up snacks at night. The rooms are great, and the gym and laundry have always been open and working. I usually tell people not to stay in Williston, but if you do, stay here.

There’s no continental breakfast, but the suites have kitchenettes and you can borrow pans, pots, utensils, and other cooking gear. The front desk also has a big DVD selection for the in-room player, and the TVs are a good size. The rooms and service were excellent, the staff was very friendly and professional, and the location is great. I’d recommend staying here over the other options in town.
