Dale took extra care of us whenever anything came up, and we’re already planning to make an anniversary stay here a yearly tradition. Our wedding night in the Crow room was perfect from start to finish. The staff were kind and helpful, and the place is quiet and beautifully decorated. The room was spacious, with thoughtful decor that made it feel special. The shower was just right, the tub felt luxurious, and the bath salts they left were a lovely treat for relaxing. The restaurant still wasn’t finished, so we were sent to their sister site for breakfast. It was incredible, and everyone there was friendly and accommodating. Any issues we had were handled quickly and kindly. We’re so grateful we chose this place for our wedding night and can’t wait to return.

We’d be happy to stay again. Our Rose room had a comfortable bed, a sitting area and a nice amount of space, and the bathroom was roomy too. The shower could fit two, but the tub couldn’t, despite being advertised for two. One other small drawback was the light fixture blocking the TV from the bed. We were looking forward to a relaxing, lazy getaway, so that mattered a little, though it wasn’t a deal breaker. The inn was spotless, the staff were super friendly and helpful, and the location made it easy to walk everywhere.

There’s so much craftsmanship to notice here, from the doors and woodwork to the imported Italian marble. Seeing all of it makes you wonder what living here in the early 1900s must have been like. It’s a historic place, and although some renovations are getting started, our room was lovely and breakfast was wonderful. We loved our stay and will definitely come again.

We really liked how close the Graystone Inn was to restaurants and shops along the riverwalk, and to so many historic buildings that were fun to walk past. Kure Beach and Wrightsville Beach were both about a 30-minute drive away. Our room was spacious and had thoughtful extras, including a lighted vanity mirror, cozy robes, a hairdryer and makeup remover towels. Breakfast was delicious and served in the dining room with social distancing due to Covid. I’d suggest adding more bed pillows and making the outdoor seating area feel more welcoming. We had a lovely stay and would happily return to the Graystone Inn.

I’m praying for a quick recovery for everyone involved, and can’t wait to return when the inn is up and running again. I had booked two nights in the Cypress room, Wednesday and Thursday, and it was beautiful. The location was great and check-in was easy and welcoming. On Wednesday night an accidental fire meant we all had to evacuate the hotel. Within ten minutes, staff had arranged rooms for us at the Front St inn. I’m grateful to everyone who helped and will encourage others to come back too. God Bless You All!
