The location made it easy to walk to downtown Wilmington’s many attractions, and there’s free parking across the street. Our inn contact, Haley, was so kind, helpful, and accommodating that we can’t thank her enough. The Vermont House has such a welcoming, cozy feel, with modern comforts thoughtfully added while keeping its 1850s charm. It’s beautiful, neat, and one of the most charming places I’ve stayed. I travel for work and spend more nights in hotels than at home, though this was a couples’ leisure getaway. Thanks for having us. We can’t wait to come back.

The location was hard to beat, and the management was so kind and easy to reach. The bed was five-star comfortable, which my bad back really appreciated, and the place was spotless. Our second-floor room had a short, easy staircase. There was some road noise from the back bedroom, but it didn't bother us. Parking was about a five-minute walk away. We hope we get to come back.

The Vermont house turned out to be a lovely surprise. Our host was attentive and shared some really good local recommendations. It's right in the center of things, and I'd happily stay again or recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

It looks like a little place from a Hallmark movie, and check-in was easy. Our room was clean, the host was attentive, and we found parking just outside. The beds were comfortable, but I barely slept because of the trucks. The building is so close to the road that tractor trailers rattled and shook the whole place every time they passed, all night long. I sleep lightly, so the noise and vibration were a real problem for me. I know that's outside the hosts' control.

The room itself was nice, and the host was attentive, but I was put in a first-floor room facing the street. Trucks passing through town made an unreal amount of noise and caused strong vibrations. I actually wondered how the building stayed standing. If you're a light sleeper, that road noise could be a serious issue.
