The lodge was a great base for skiing at Whiteface, just a short distance from the hill. My room was bright, clean, and recently renovated, with big windows, a large TV, and a mini fridge. I also liked having the reception lounge as a place to sit and get some work done. It has a lovely cottage feel, and there was a light breakfast each morning. I had a really good stay and plan to come back.

That cozy cabin atmosphere made it easy to relax, and the breakfast was free and delicious. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a thoughtful layout that felt almost like home. Everything was spotless from the moment we arrived. The hospitality was warm and attentive too. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

The pleasant atmosphere and well-renovated rooms made for a nice stay. There were cubbies and hooks for all the ski gear, which was handy. Whiteface is only a few miles away, and Lake Placid is about a 20-minute drive. I'd stay here again.

A quiet, scenic spot with a rustic feel and good value. It’s about 12 miles from downtown Lake Placid. The place was clean, cozy, and comfortable, and the staff really went out of their way to make sure we were happy.

The room was spacious, spotless, and had lovely views with a cabin feel. We were only in town for one night at the Spruce Lodge, and both of us wished we could have stayed longer. Check-in was easy, and when we had questions, we got quick answers by text or at reception. Town is about a 15-minute drive away along one straightforward road, so going back and forth a few times was no problem.
