Hampton Inn & Suites Wilmington

The beds were a real hit with my family. I slept better than I have in a while, and even the kids kept saying how comfortable the mattress was and that they wanted one like it at home. The room and hotel were clean, comfortable and laid out well. Staff were prompt, friendly and accommodating, especially at the front desk, where everyone was genuinely polite. The breakfast area worker seemed overwhelmed and like she was doing the work of two people, possibly because of a staffing issue, but she hustled to keep everything filled and serve guests. The small pool was clean and well maintained, and may have been saltwater. There’s a nice outdoor seating area and a pond behind the building, which gives you somewhere pleasant to sit despite the businesses out front. The hotel is close to lots of things, yet well insulated from road noise, and we didn’t hear much from the hall or neighboring rooms. I’ll definitely stay again.

Braden was incredibly kind and patient while I sorted out a booking for the wrong place during my work trip on 11/9/25. I couldn’t have asked for more professional help during a stressful moment, and I highly recommend this location based on the service alone. I only stayed one night, and the room and accommodations were exceptional. Thanks again, Braden, for all your help and kindness!

We had a wonderful time here for our Hobbit wedding at the Ohio Renaissance Faire, and booked a Wedding Block. The breakfast bar was great, the most substantial complimentary one I’ve seen in a long time. Out back, the pond and outdoor space were peaceful and relaxing. The bed was very firm, which made it hard for me to sleep. On the third night, I asked for extra duvets and that made all the difference. Huge thanks to Brayden (sorry if I got your name wrong, my guy) for the great service, and to Samantha for helping with the wedding block. I’d stay again, but next time I’ll ask for the extra duvets right away.

The grounds were beautiful, the pool was great, and breakfast was better than what we usually expect at a hotel. Our room was clean and nice, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. I’d definitely come back.
