An actual American-owned mom-and-pop hotel at a super reasonable price, and a great find for pilot car drivers. The gentleman at the desk was nice, the decor was pleasant, and our room was clean with comfortable beds, decent space, and a very clean bathroom and shower. It’s quiet and in a very safe neighborhood, right off the 5. There’s a diner next door.

The bathroom was noticeably nicer than the room, and the bed was comfortable. I checked for bed bugs and didn’t spot a single bug of any kind 😊. Staff were very friendly, and the price was good. The room also had a TV, microwave, and mini fridge. I stayed one night and would definitely come back.

I love how cozy it feels here, almost like a guest room at a friend or family member’s place. The beds are really comfortable, and the towels are plush, clean, and much nicer than the usual thin, cheap ones. The shower has great pressure, and they provide toiletries like shampoo and hair dryers. Before checkout, there’s hot coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and full-size muffins set out by the front desk. The rooms are very clean, and the staff are amazing: friendly, welcoming, and so accommodating. I’ve recommended this place before and will keep doing so. I don’t think you’ll find anything comparable for the same consistently affordable price in the area.

Edit: Management later explained that the vacant main-floor rooms had just been shampooed, which makes sense. They keep the place clean, and I wish the employee had handled the situation differently. We were tired after traveling, arriving after dark with a large child asleep in my arms. It would’ve been much easier to park beside our room and carry them just the last few steps, especially with the hazards around. Instead, the night staff insisted on putting us in one of the hardest rooms to access upstairs, even though several easy-access rooms downstairs seemed vacant. They said, “We’re ALL booked up,” while the rooms and parking lot looked mostly empty. Was that really necessary? There was no consideration for paying guests, and deliberately making things harder for a customer isn’t hospitality.
