We tried this cottage for a getaway weekend and found it cute, quiet, very clean, and reasonably priced. It’s close to Wimberley shopping, works perfectly for two, and has a nicely updated bathroom and some basic amenities. I do wish there were a kitchen sink. The hot tub also wasn’t usable for us, probably because there were too many chemicals, though I believe it’s usually available. That wasn’t a deal breaker, but having it would have been a nice way to unwind.

The hot tub was filthy, with scum and residue lining the inside, and the porch was covered in dust and dirt. The cabin shares a wall with another rental, so privacy is limited. When I raised the hot tub issue, Cherri was rude, accused me of not being able to afford a vacation, and blamed its condition on me, even though it was too gross to use. Whatever charm the place may once have had is gone. Save your money and stay away.
