The XL Dome was a wonderful place to wake up, with calming views and the sounds of nature each morning. Before we arrived, text updates covered everything we needed to know. At check-in, there was a "cosmo kit" and a letter from the property about that weekend's Stargazing night. We grilled dinner by the pool, then headed to the lounge for pool and a fire. Coffee was provided for the room, along with a fridge and kitchenette for our food. Two Moons Trial was a short 10-15 min drive for horseback riding, and afterward we went into the lively but quaint nearby town for shopping and dinner. That night, Cedar Ranch hosted an astronomer with a HUGE telescope for looking at planets and stars. The experience was "out of this world," and the astronomer was kind, personable, and full of insight. In the morning we took one last coffee walk around the grounds, played a round of Pickle Ball on the pretty courts among the trees, then finished with the sauna and cold plunge. Staff were helpful throughout and checkout was easy. 11/10 stay with Cedar Ranch, highly recommend!

The domes and cabins could be arranged in lots of ways to fit our needs for a family reunion of more than 40 people. We booked the whole property, and it worked out so well. There was room to gather at the pool and pickleball courts, plus indoor, air-conditioned spaces for games. We could all eat together in one big room. Communication before the stay was plentiful, and when I had questions, replies came almost immediately. The team was organized, friendly, and great to work with.

The Wi-Fi was a little slow, but it did make it easier to switch off and enjoy nature. I stayed in Gran Mesquite #9, and the cabin was spotless and cozy, with very comfortable beds. It's close to downtown Wimberley, so getting out to explore and back again is easy. My husband and I spent one night there, and another with my family. Both stays were perfect. We enjoyed the ranch pool, pickleball court, sauna, and firepit. I can't really capture how beautiful this place is in words or pictures. It's a lovely choice for a romantic escape or any kind of vacation. Highly recommend this little slice of heaven! 💕

Having my husband and dog with me made this cozy stay at The Cedars Ranch even better. We could enjoy the grounds, then use the cold plunge and sauna to recover before relaxing in our Eco Yurt. There are lots of amenities, but it still felt like we were in nature. It was a fun reset, and when we needed to work, the Wi-Fi connection was easy. Highly recommend.

I wanted a quiet, secluded birthday escape, and The Cedars Ranch was just right. We stayed in the dome, where everything was automated. I got a code, arrived without any trouble, and didn't see a single person. It felt like a perfectly private getaway.
