The hand sink had plenty of water, but the tub barely had any pressure and never got warm, so I couldn't bathe. The tub's surface was peeling badly, and the carpets were covered in stains. The room had the same musty smell as the building, though it wasn't quite as strong. Both building entrances were propped open, which didn't feel secure, and the room's chain was bent and wouldn't catch properly even though there was also a knob lock. I didn't notice any bugs. It might do for a layover, but for what I paid, it didn't feel like good value.

After a weekend running around Fort Knox Paintball Field, having a bed and shower nearby was handy. The shower could've used a good scrub, though. I'm not picky, and I've been pretty poor, but cleaning one doesn't cost much. The shower being a bit funky wouldn't keep me from using the motel again for another event there, since it's better than no shower. I just hope it's in better shape next time. Aside from that, we had a great stay. The location is convenient, with shopping and restaurants close by, and the price is average. Mc Donald's is nearby too, and to my surprise it had the best coffee around.

I love the old country feel here, and the room was really nice, clean, quiet, and had comfortable beds and a big TV. There's a grocery store right across the street. The hot water kept shifting from very warm to barely warm and back again. If you've got a few things to plug in, bring a power strip or extension cord.

The beds weren't very comfortable, but the room price was quite reasonable. Shopping is just across the street, with a few restaurants an easy drive away and fast food within walking distance. Since it's the only motel in town, there's not much choice.

Its claim to fame is that it hosted participants in the Ford Pinto trial. Worth visiting for that.
