Super 8 Windsor

We arrived late, and they had called earlier to check that we were still coming. I confirmed, then learned they were full and had someone looking for a room, so they were trying to fit that person in. That felt like going the extra mile, and I'm sorry we couldn't help. Nick at the front desk was especially engaging and helpful, and his pitch that we'd have a good stay proved pretty accurate. The room was very clean, breakfast was good, and I'd recommend it for a good night's rest.

Nick, the owner, and his wife were welcoming and courteous at check in. They offered to help with our bags and walked us to the room to make sure we were happy with it. They also arranged for our daughter and her kids to check in before we arrived. The accommodations, service, and politeness were first class. The place has improved a lot since our last visit under the new ownership. Thanks to Nick and his wife for making the stay so good. The Tuckers will stay nowhere else on our next trip to Windsor.

Charles, their baby, is loved by everyone, and the owners and staff take good care of people here. The owners have taken time to get to know guests and are working hard on the remodeling. Seeing that extra effort in customer service day after day is refreshing, since it seems to be fading in America. I've stayed at plenty of other motel 8s, and this one compares well. I'd bet it's one of the best 8s around. The place is very clean, and the staff are doing a great job.

The rooms and bathrooms have been newly remodeled, with clean floors and bathrooms and good hot water. There's a guest laundry and bicycle rentals, and a fitness center is coming soon. The dining room also works as a lounge, with a TV, board games, and a huge wall mounted Scrabble board. The new encrypted RFID locks open with a tap, so there's no more endless magnetic key swiping. Windsor is a nice, safe city, and this hotel is close to Loveland and Fort Collins, with their many attractions. It's a little over an hour from Rocky Mt. Nat. Park. We picked this hotel because it's lovely. Great place!
