Windsor Mansion Inn

We came across this charming 1901 mansion late at night while looking for somewhere to stay. Andy greeted us at the door and helped carry our bags to the room. He also arranged breakfast for a time that suited us. For an extra $4, we had a wonderful homemade meal on the back patio, along with a bit of history from Andy. The grounds, views, mansion, and rooms are all gorgeous. We'd highly recommend it. Thanks, Andy, for a wonderful stay!

Andy clearly loves what he does and takes great care of his guests. The Inn is well maintained, with a fascinating history, and its rates are lower than comparable hotels. It's also a great base for anyone looking to enjoy recreation in the nearby Green Mountains.

My wife and I booked a room for our wedding night, and the location was beautiful. On our wedding day, she and her bridesmaids came to get ready, but the inn keeper became upset because the bridesmaids weren't staying at the Inn. We were locked out of the room and weren't refunded for the night. My wife, then my fiancee, left calmly, but the inn keeper followed her into the parking lot and yelled at her while she was holding her wedding dress. I can only describe the behavior as pure evil. We are calm, respectful people, and nobody deserves to be treated with that level of disrespect. The inn keeper seemed nice at first, but turned on us in an instant once we weren't to their liking. This was the most disrespectful and inhospitable Inn I've ever stayed at. Fortunately, we had a lovely wedding at the amazing Path of Life Garden, which definitely deserves your patronage.

The team at Windsor Mansion Inn is attentive and professional, and they truly care about making things seamless for each couple. As a wedding photographer who's worked at venues across New England, I always look forward to shooting there. The grounds are stunning and offer lots of portrait opportunities. Inside, the rich interiors, distinctive architecture, and lovely natural light work beautifully for candid and editorial-style photos.
