Quality Inn & Suites Winfield

I left some medication in the refrigerator in my room at the Quality Inn in Grants Kansas. The manager, Nilesh Pate, went above and beyond by taking the time to mail it to me. Thank you very much. This will be my new stop whenever I travel that way.

Check-in was smooth, and the service was friendly and great. But the room felt sticky from the heavy humidity and smelled of mildew. There was noticeable mold on the walls in both the room and bathroom. The carpet and bathroom floor looked like they hadn’t been swept or cleaned in a while. We asked for a room with double queen beds, but what we got seemed to be full-sized beds. I wasn’t too thrilled with how it all turned out.

The staff were super friendly and ready to help, and the room was cozy and comfortable. It was clean and had everything I needed, so I really enjoyed my stay at this Quality inn and Suites hotel. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to others. ❤️

The free breakfast was okay, with a make-your-own waffle station, sausage links, eggs, a little fresh fruit, cereal, pastries, bagels, and muffins. The biscuits for biscuits and gravy were more like large, hard, crunchy croutons, though. The hotel has modern decor, and the rooms include a frig/freezer, coffee maker, microwave, desk and chair, two full length mirrors, and an alarm clock with two usb charging ports. There’s also a weight room on the 2nd floor. The room smelled musty and mildewed as soon as we walked in. When we went to bed, the bedding and carpet felt damp from the humidity, which I assume caused the odor. If stairs are a problem, ask for a first-floor room, since there’s no elevator. That wasn’t mentioned anywhere, and after a long drive we had to deal with changing rooms. Overall, it was an okay stay with basic amenities that get the job done.
