Holiday Inn Express Winnemucca by IHG

This was my second stay, and it feels like a home away from home. The pool is always clean and ready, and the computer and printer have been working with paper available. Breakfast starts before 6 every day, weekdays and weekends, rain or shine. There's fresh fruit, sometimes watermelon or papaya instead of just bananas and apples, and there's food available in the evening too. The rooms are immaculate, with clean bathrooms and fresh shower curtains. Everyone is warm and helpful. Mrs Rosa even gave me a plate and a ziplock bag for food to take in the truck.

Whenever we're in town, this is where we stay. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and well kept every time. The staff are reliably friendly and seem to genuinely care, which you don't find everywhere.

The beds were so comfortable, and those soft sheets made me really happy. Dre was helpful throughout our stay, and I appreciated the hospitality and accommodation. Thanks to Lissette too, and sorry if I spelled your name wrong! The hotel smelled so good. I could hear people in the rooms next door, but I bring earplugs anyway, it's a hotel with lots of people around. The breakfast was great, and the woman who prepares it and the rest of the breakfast crew deserve thanks. My family loved the pancake machine. The indoor pool was open, though cooler than we hoped. It worked fine for my boys, and it looks like they're doing some work on it, so I didn't take points off. Our bathroom could have been cleaner. The toilet seat didn't fit properly and wasn't clean. I'm not upset, just giving a heads up. It isn't a perfect place, but it is a very nice hotel. Dre and the staff made up for the bathroom issue.

Over $200 a night for an okay room makes no sense. The bathroom ceiling had rusty nails coming through, and the lobby smelled of cigarette and weed smoke. There's a much better, cheaper hotel in Wells, NV, so I'd keep driving. This place has no reason to charge $200+ a night.
