Rodeway Inn & Suites Winnfield

The elevator stayed broken through our whole trip, though we were told on check-in it would be fixed that day. The second-floor ice machine was broken too. Breakfast was absurd: refrigerated food was left out without being kept at the right temperature, and a worker told us to go inside and get our own milk from a clearly marked staff-only area. We work for the state and were refused a discount. I added pictures because I like showing the facts of what happened. Veronica, you never tried to call us. That's a flat-out lie, we have no missed calls from you. We stayed with our granddaughters and were disgusted. This used to be a decent hotel, but now I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. On the first night we should have left or at least complained, when my granddaughter reached for the remote and touched someone's nasty panties left behind because the room hadn't been cleaned properly. This place is a health hazard and should be shut down.

Breakfast was great, and the staff were friendly. The rooms were very clean and quiet. I'd recommend this hotel and would stay again ❤️

The pool was green and didn't look clean, and the hallways smelled like cigarettes. Breakfast was supposed to be hot and free, but while it was free, it wasn't hot or good. At least Walmart and Burger King are within walking distance. The noise across the hall went on even after we complained, with people shouting slurs. The walls must be paper thin, and it took me about an hour to fall asleep. Workers were smoking and vaping, and two were inside the so-called fitness room, which had junk instead of fitness equipment. This ruined my trip, and I won't stay here again. I can see why the hotel has such a low rating. We came for a family reunion and had lots of relatives stay here, which wasn't a good decision. Our room was only half cleaned: at 11pm a worker and a man banged on our door because he said he'd left his things there when he had the room earlier. We had to look for his clothes. If the room had been cleaned properly, the items would've been noticed. There was also an open, used bar of soap in the bathtub.

The hotel looked okay, but the food was stale and outdated. The pool was closed, and they sent us to a public hot tub that wasn't there when we arrived. Sad.
