The location is handy for Wake Forest University, with a few nearby places for casual meals. My room had the basic amenities I expected, plus a coffee maker that was useful in the morning. The bed and pillows were especially comfortable, and the property felt cozy, clean, and well cared for. A solid option for a visit to the area.

The staff were helpful and friendly, and the hotel was quiet and clean. The rooms are a bit small, and so is the narrow shower. The toilet room can feel cramped if you need to shut the door, so it may not suit someone who’s claustrophobic. There’s no complimentary coffee or breakfast here.

There’s a bistro, though it keeps limited hours, and no free breakfast or coffee available around the clock. The motel itself is older, with average rooms and amenities, and there was a lot of construction nearby.

Alvin at the Bistro was top notch, a great cook, and the beer was ice cold. Everyone here was really nice and hospitable. I’d definitely stay again!

The bed was a little smaller than I expected, so I’d give the room four stars. Still, we had a great stay and this is our go-to place when we’re in town. We were greeted when we arrived, check-in was quick, and the front desk was helpful with our questions.
