Patricia was kind, professional, and helpful, with a great work ethic. I really enjoyed the chocolate chip cookies she made for us. The hotel was clean and pleasant. Thanks for everything.

As an IHG Diamond Elite member, I expected check-in to go smoothly. I called ahead and confirmed that my status allowed early check-in any time after noon. When I arrived around 1:30 p.m., the front desk employee said check-in wasn’t until 3 and that no rooms were ready because housekeeping was still cleaning. I told her about the call, but she dismissed that and insisted no call had been made. Only when I asked again did she check the system, find my early check-in, and see that my room was ready. The issue got resolved, but the employee was curt and unfriendly, and didn’t apologize. She gave me the impression she didn’t understand that hospitality means putting courtesy and a willingness to help first. A quick system check before dismissing me would have prevented the whole unpleasant interaction.

Our three adult children came with their spouses and kids on the second night of our two-night stay. The hotel was very clean, and breakfast was nice and included. Patricia made the visit special. She was working the afternoon front desk both days, upgraded us to a king suite, and was incredibly helpful and kind. Thank you, Patricia. We hope you’re there when we return next year!

Getting into the property is awkward. You can only enter from the north, so if you’re coming from the south, you have to make a U-turn. Also, rooms on the north side, closest to the interstate, are very noisy. Ask for a south-side room or bring earplugs. Otherwise, it’s a typical Holiday Inn Express.
