Residence Inn by Marriott Winston-Salem Hanes Mall

We were in town for a weekend wedding and picked this hotel because it was close to the venue. My wife and I were very pleased with the clean, well-maintained room. The staff were excellent, and the manager answered our questions and was especially helpful when we needed somewhere to eat. I'll recommend the hotel to friends traveling through Winston-Salem. Thanks to management for the courtesy and a wonderful stay. We'll be back. My wife wrote a review too, but the hotel deserved one from each of us.

My husband and I stayed here for a family wedding and were very pleased. The location was perfect, and both the hotel and our room were quiet. Everything was clean and spacious. The staff were polite and helpful with all our needs, and the manager was especially kind, friendly, and helpful. We'll definitely stay here again.

The room was spacious and clean, but the front desk and breakfast made the strongest impression. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly, and check-in and check-out were really pleasant because the staff were helpful. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I've had. Everything was fresh and prepared just right.

The rooms are a nice size, but they really need better upkeep. There were handprints on the headboard, food on the stove and cabinet handles, something gross on the bed skirt, pink mildew on the shower grout, and a broken lamp over the nightstand. Housekeeping had gone for the day, so I asked for disinfectant spray and was given wipes instead. That was fine, at least I had something to clean with. The manager was very nice and apologetic, and added points to my employer's account, which had booked the rooms.
