I only booked here because I was driving from Philly for a bike event and had already checked that there weren’t other places nearby with rooms available. The outside wasn’t bad, but the inside really needs a complete renovation. A sign in the office said there are no refunds once a card is charged, and they charged mine right away, unlike other places that wait until checkout. The room was filthy and badly neglected. Dust was thick on the broken blinds and all over everything else, the carpets were stained, and there was an odor as soon as I walked in. I took off the bedspread because those aren’t cleaned often enough at even the nicest places. At least the sheets looked clean. I’m guessing water spilling out of the shower caused the rust at floor level on the bathroom sink supports. The bathroom was so tiny that, with the door open, it hid the toilet paper holder. I was traveling alone and wanted to relax there, but ended up making sure I stayed away until nighttime.

My HUSBAND and I LOVE IT HERE! The neighbors are AWESOME, and this is by far the best motel in the area. Everyone staying here is super friendly, and the hardworking people are always willing to help if you need anything. The rooms feel cozy, there’s a laundry room, and there’s a view! Home of JPMRACING for now!

We felt safer in our truck. The room had bed bugs, everything in it was broken, and there was an open-tip needle on the floor. Even after we asked to change rooms, they refused. The place was dirty from day one and we never had Wi-Fi. The manager always seemed drunk, too.

It’s weekly or monthly rentals only. A week costs $180 to $200, while monthly rates run from $750 to $900 depending on the room. Be aware that there are no refunds, and you can be thrown out at any time. The rooms are small, rundown, and filthy, with hot water only about half the time and no Wi-Fi at all. There are lots of people with drug addictions and alcohol problems here, and state police visit often. The manager is an alcoholic too.
