Hilton Garden INN Greenville University

I was disappointed, especially as a Hilton Diamond member. We may give the place another try when we return in the fall, but this stay wasn’t restful. We were in room 720 on the back side, where people in the parking garage looked into our room several times and made my daughter very uncomfortable. Large groups also gathered loudly at the top of the garage, and we were directly under the rooftop bar, so we could hear chairs moving every time someone shifted one. The AC revved loudly, and there was a dripping sound in the wall. When we came back after a day out, the room had only been partly cleaned. The hotel itself is beautiful and welcoming, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the location was perfect. The noise was unlike anything we’ve dealt with elsewhere.

We’re Hilton Honors members, and this was one of the nicer Hiltons we’ve seen. We’re locals and stopped in during a Saturday walk around 11 a.m. The hotel was beautiful and clean, and it seemed safe, with no random people around. Everyone was so sweet. We found the rooftop bar on the eighth floor and can’t wait to try it for a date night. It looks pretty cool. When family visits again, I’ll definitely recommend they stay here.

The food and craft drinks at 1717 Rooftop were delicious, and both the server and manager were on top of everything. William at the front desk was super helpful even before we went inside. The hotel smelled amazing and was clean, and the customer service was a 10/10. I also had a perfect night’s sleep in a clean, incredibly comfortable bed with the coziest pillows.

I’ve been here for seven weeks on work trips and tried other hotels nearby. There’s no competition. It’s a beautiful new hotel with a great rooftop bar and restaurant. Parking can be a little annoying if you don’t find a spot on the garage’s surface level. That’s my only note.
