Four days of ice-cold showers, and staff never fixed the hot water. They moved me to another room, but it had the same problem. Maintenance came by and, after several minutes, the water got almost as warm as room temperature. I was told, “of course there's no hot water, it can't get all the way up to the fourth floor.” The pressure was low too. There were no housekeeping visits, so I had the same towel all four days and nobody made the bed. The hotel was noisy, with people who seemed to be homeless or city-supported monthly residents walking around the halls in pajamas and slippers. A Taco Bell next door stayed loud until very early in the morning. Breakfast was extremely sparse and unappealing: coffee, toast, Fruit Loops, or make-your-own, with juice but no meat or cheese. Since I booked four days on Booking.com, I couldn't cancel after arriving. I thought about losing hundreds of dollars and leaving, but tried to tough it out. This was the worst hotel experience ever.

The owner was hands-on and checked that guests were having a good stay. Staff were attentive and really friendly, and both the rooms and comfortable beds were clean. Great location and value. I had a great experience and highly recommend it.

The staff were consistently kind and offered help whenever needed. The room, though, wasn't very clean, and it smelled as if it had been sprayed with Febreze to cover other odors. Several things were broken, and both the curtains and carpet were stained.

The staff were helpful and friendly, and breakfast was basic but had the essentials we wanted. The rooms look recently renovated, with plenty of space, outlets, and nice furnishings. The bathroom is small but has new fixtures, and the tub showerhead has water-saving spray settings. There's a microwave and small fridge in the room, though the fridge has no freezer compartment.
