We paid a significant amount for this stay, and it fell far short of what was advertised. I’d like resort management to review what happened and consider appropriate compensation. Construction and renovation were underway across the property, changing the atmosphere and experience, but the work wasn’t clearly disclosed when we booked. Our first room was beside active construction, with dust, materials, and a lot of visual disruption, so we asked to move. On the first day, a large piece of metal soffit blew off the roof during construction and nearly hit us. That was alarming and a serious safety concern. The replacement unit had its own problems: the upstairs tub wouldn’t fill properly, the downstairs toilet leaked, the coffee machine was broken, several outlets didn’t work, and the lights in our son’s room were out. We had to unscrew bulbs to troubleshoot. We were promised extra blankets right away, but they never came, and replacement towels took two days. The BBQ facilities were mostly unusable. After waiting more than an hour for staff to help light a grill, we were told many had no gas. At another BBQ area across the resort, we waited another 45 minutes for a lighter, then found half the burners didn’t work and the control knobs were broken, making the grill difficult to use safely. One pool was closed during our stay, and the waterslide closed shortly after we arrived. When we raised these problems, staff mostly dismissed us instead of trying to help. Between the safety hazard, maintenance failures, unavailable amenities, and undisclosed construction, the stay was extremely disappointing and concerning for our family. Please have management review the complaint and respond with a proposed resolution.

We’re only on our first night, and the service has been great, especially from the front desk. The room is spacious and clean, but it looks dated, with older decor and a fuzzy TV that has no streaming services. I’m a little disappointed we didn’t get one of the updated rooms, and I’d like to see it after renovations. Still, I can’t complain too much; this is an honest first impression. If you want a modern room, this probably isn’t the place.

The staff really made this trip. Everyone we met, from the front desk and pool service to the arcade, restaurant, housekeeping, and art studio, was fabulous and welcoming. Our apartment was very clean with just minor wear, which didn’t affect our stay. The kitchen had dishes, cups, mugs, and silverware, though another serving bowl or two and a second frying pan would’ve helped when making a full breakfast. Check-in and getting into both the property and apartment were easy, so settling in was stress-free. We had plenty to do: mini putt, bean bag toss, lunch at the poolside grill, and evenings in the main pool and hot tub after days at the water park. The resort is in a quiet, lovely location, and the amenities gave everyone in the family something to enjoy. We stayed at Aqua Sol from February 7-10, 2026, and would happily bring the family back.

The drive was about 15 minutes to Magic Kingdom and 20 minutes to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios. We appreciated the 24-hour security gate, and there were no unexpected fees beyond what we already knew about. The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. The property is beautiful, and the guest desk was friendly and helpful, explaining the layout and family activities. Housekeeping was available around the clock too.
