The owners live on the property and take good care of it. It's a friendly, safe and very clean place, with a pool and plenty of patio furniture to sit on. The views overlooking Lake Roy are amazing. The rooms and furniture are dated.

I've been coming here with my parents since I was a kid. The rooms are charmingly outdated, and the owners are so nice. It's super family friendly, and you can bring your boat. The back of the property is gorgeous, with tables, seating and covered areas. You really can't beat it.

My family and I stayed a week for $450, plus a $50 deposit for a basic room, which wasn't bad. The rooms are cozy, the views are nice, and you can get to the lake easily. The help felt a little sketchy, but overall it was a nice place to stay.

The sunsets here are impossible to beat, absolutely painted by God. The property looks beautiful at night, and the pool is inviting. If you know someone with a boat, they can pick you up at the dock so you can enjoy the chain of lakes. I recommend the living waters boat cruises too, since they'll drop you back at this dock after the cruise. It's great value, an unsung gem in Winter Haven, and I highly recommend the resort. It was the place everyone talked about when I was young. Now that I've moved away, I love staying here when I visit. Yes, it's a little dated, but the owners are wonderful, care about your experience, and are always ready to help. The beds are comfortable, and we had plenty of blankets and pillows.
