Staybridge Suites Winter Haven Auburndale by IHG

The rooms were clean and roomy, and having a full kitchen was a huge help for our family. We spent four nights at Staybridge Inn and Suites Winter Haven. The front desk team was consistently kind and helpful, and even gave our Lego loving kids mini figures. Lina and Lily were our favorites. They got breakfast ready each morning, welcomed guests, and kept circulating to clean and replenish the food.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with lots of choices, and it was really good. The lobby is spacious, but getting there early helps you find a seat. Later on, you may have to wait for other guests to leave. The staff were helpful and nice. They didn't clean rooms during the holiday schedule, which would have been welcome, but it wasn't a big deal. There are many rooms, so the elevator can take a while too. We stayed over Labor Day weekend and came away very pleased. I'd never tried this hotel brand before, and online photos have disappointed me plenty of times, but this place matched what was shown. The price felt fair for what we got. Our room was large, with two queen beds, a full size couch, and a little kitchen with everything except an oven. There was even a dishwasher. The area was clean, and the bathroom was nice. The shower took a bit of figuring out, but worked nicely once I got it going. We enjoyed the weekend and would stay here again if we come back to Winter Haven.

I've been here for work for a few months, and I've been very pleased with the stay. I especially like the complimentary breakfast, and the social hours during the week are nice too. Rilly, Lina, and Aubre prepare those meals and deserve a mention. The front desk is always friendly, and the cleaning crew does a great job with my room and the other facilities.

Breakfast is good here, with cereal, waffles, and danishes every day. Today they also had scrambled eggs, turkey and pork sausage, plus sweet potato tots. It's a newer motel, and the rooms are nice. Mine has a small kitchenette.
