Travel Inn Winter Haven

I chose the cheapest hotel I could find, so I wasn't expecting immaculate conditions. But there was dried pee on the toilet and the towels were stained. Charging more than $20 a night for somewhere like this is outrageous.

I've stayed here for a few months and haven't had problems. I go to work, come back, and keep to myself. There are families here long term, but people don't really bother you. I pay #924 every two weeks for me, my husband, my son, and our two dogs. I clean my own room because that's how I prefer it. There's a washer and dryer, and the staff try to keep noise down. I've never seen bed bugs, though I have seen a few roaches. They'll work with you, but you need to communicate with them. All in all, I've had a good experience.

The rooms smell, and the place is run down. The toilets wouldn't flush, the hall walls were dirty, and the shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. Kids were running around unsupervised. The curtains were barely hanging on, and I was shocked there was no pool, since one was described. I was outraged by the state of the place. It needs a remodel ASAP. The only decent thing I saw was that I didn't spot any bugs, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, even on a budget. I'm surprised it hasn't been shut down.

The whole place smelled awful: cigarettes, weed, old urine, and musty, rotten towels. It was very dirty. Save your money and sleep in your car. That would be safer and cleaner. I'm shocked for a Wyndham property.
