Winthrop Beach Inn and Suites Boston Logan Airport

Our room was bright and airy, very quiet, and the bed was comfortable. We never heard the other guests. The hotel is rated two stars, but it's lovely, with fresh rooms, spotless cleaning, and friendly staff. If we're back in Boston, this will be our first choice.

The bed was comfortable, and the hardwood floors ran throughout. We had a very short walk to the beach, about four houses down, and the airport was 2.5 miles away. The T doesn't come here, but buses and cabs do. Parking is on site, though it's best to reserve a spot. They also accommodated our request for an early breakfast. Our room was clean and had what we needed: towels, toiletries, coffee and tea pot, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, electric range, dishes, and cups. The website says the Queen suite has a sofa bed, but ours only had a sofa. We needed to change rooms because of that, and the staff were easy to work with. One suggestion: a curved shower rod would keep the curtain from attacking you in the shower. I'd stay again.

We had some confusion while arranging the reservation, and the air conditioner in our room wasn't working. Staff checked it and offered another room, but it only fit two people and there were four of us. We didn't want to take up two rooms. The place was clean, the staff were friendly, and they served a nice breakfast. The beach is an easy walk away. It was a nice experience overall.

For a place costing at most half as much as other hotels, I thought this was awesome. Young staff were friendly and helpful, and my room was clean, good-looking, and practical. It had a kitchen sink and microwave, a good bed, a big flat-screen TV, and an iron and board. Everything was clean. Parking costs an extra $10, and I got a complimentary bottle of wine. With no traffic, an Uber to downtown Boston took about 15 minutes and cost $16. I'll stay here again next time I'm in Boston.
