The room was filthy, with a bad smell, a screeching sink, a grimy shower, and hair and debris on the bedding. The hallways also smelled overwhelmingly of weed, and there aren't any vending machines. The whole place felt neglected and more like a sketchy apartment complex than a family hotel. The pools were out of order when we arrived, and no one had told us beforehand. We booked partly because of them. We'd stayed at the Polynesian Hotel several times before and had good experiences, so this was a huge disappointment. It's gone downhill fast. I wouldn't stay here based on its old reputation. Save your money and book somewhere else.

The front desk woman was rude and unwelcoming, and it sounded like she was muttering curses in Spanish. Staff couldn't or wouldn't help with directions, saying they didn't speak English or didn't know. They also charged resort fees for all three rooms even though they were under one reservation, which made no sense. Outside, there was garbage everywhere and the lawn by the pool looked like it hadn't been cut in years. The pools were freezing, the jacuzzi didn't work, and the waterfall was off. There's no breakfast or free tickets or shows like some other places nearby. This feels like a run-down motel 66, nowhere near a resort. It's my second visit and my last. Not worth the headache.

Diana at reception made check-in easy and showed me how to find my room. She answered my questions about the area and suggested places to eat that were open late when I arrived. I'd book again, 10/10!

The pools area was mostly closed off, and what I saw looked green and strange. The hotel didn't look like the pictures at all. We left a day early, even though we were meant to leave today. There was no breakfast, and this just wasn't a good stay for me, zero out of ten. Our room had dirty floors, including under the beds, a disgusting-looking shower head, and stained towels. When we put up the room service sign, nobody brought fresh towels or cups, so we had to get them ourselves. That wasn't a problem by itself, but we expected someone to come. The receptionist on Friday had a rude tone and an attitude from the start.

We booked through hotels.com and had a confirmation, but when we arrived around 4:30 to check in, the parking lot was empty and a note on the door sent us to the Atlantis hotel. They hadn't received our reservation there. We were told this place had just shut down for some reason and might reopen next week. That didn't help us that day. Getting my money back took more than an hour on the phone.
