Hampton Inn & Suites Wixom

This has become our home away from home for business trips. My husband and I stay here often, and the rooms are always clean and the staff are so accommodating that they feel like family. Cynthia the GM is fabulous, and Shena, Morgan, and the rest of the staff are amazing and fun. You won't be disappointed!

We paid $131 including tax for room 205 with a king bed, and it was worth staying in Wixom rather than paying the inflated hotel prices near the stadium. It was about 40 minutes from the stadium, where we were going for an Ohio Sate/*ichigan game. The man who checked us in on Black Friday around 7-8 pm was welcoming, kind, and professional. I didn't get his name, but he said he'd also worked on Thanksgiving. The hotel was very clean, and I loved the fresh “relaxation scent” in the building. I've traveled a lot and hadn't come across that in a hotel before. I checked out the pool and gym without using them, and both looked very clean. The gym also has a water bottle refill station. There are restaurants, Kroger, and Target within a five-minute drive. Breakfast had plenty of choices, though I didn't eat; as someone GF, I noticed fruit, yogurt, sausage, mini ham omelettes, coffee, and tea were available. This was a bucket-list game and trip for my husband, so we probably won't be back in the area, but if we are, I'd stay here again and recommend the property.

I stayed here the night before a procedure at Henry Ford Providence. The room was comfortable and clean, and the person at check-in was very nice and quickly brought my wife an extra pillow. Good value overall.

Morgan at the front desk made us feel welcome and was really nice. Our room was very clean, and the pool was clean too when we used it.
