Extended Stay America Suites Boston Woburn

It was cheaper than staying in Boston, and parking and wifi were free, but I wouldn’t come back. I’m not usually fussy about hotels, as long as I can sleep, but this place gave me the ick. It felt like a dorm style motel and needs remodeling ASAP. We found a cigarette hole in the mattress after taking off the sheets, mold on the shower curtain, pink mold in the toilet, and the water pressure was horrible. I was worried the tub might fall through to the second floor. The stove looked like it was from the 1950s, and there’s a lot of potential that’s being wasted. There was never anyone at the front desk, and they charged us twice. I’m also always concerned about outside connections.

I paid for seven days but only stayed one, and they wouldn’t refund the remaining 6 days’ fee, over 500 yuan. The hotel was dirty, with poor surroundings and inadequate service. There was hair all over the bedding, which was disgusting and unbearable. I found the place shabby and untrustworthy, and feel it’s a scam. Be careful and don’t stay here.

We booked through a third party app because we had credits, but the refund was denied after we left. Extended stay said we’d stayed the whole time, although we have proof we stayed at another hotel. We’ll keep pursuing the refund. We came to see the fall colors and local history. The first room smelled strongly of mildew, and we found water damage that seemed to come from the second floor, along with mold. It was otherwise gross and dirty. We asked to move. The second room looked okay at first, but after a few minutes we could smell mold and found it growing in the bathroom. There were stink bugs too, and the furniture was in disrepair, with torn lampshades and a torn headboard. At the desk, the man recorded my information and what I told him about the room. A nice homeless lady was waiting for a toilet plunger because her toilet was clogged. This hotel should be closed for health risks until actual repairs are made.

The rooms got a lower mark only because renovations were going on. Management and staff did everything they could to keep us comfortable and happy. Crystal, Melissa, Craig, and Rose at the front desk are always smiling and eager to help.
