Spark by Hilton Woburn Boston

The Brazilian staff made this stay. They were hardworking, professional, and attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure my handicapped wife was comfortable and cared for. When we noticed a missing screw in the bathroom, they dealt with it promptly and safely. Any hotel would be lucky to have employees like them. The rooms at The Spark by Hilton in Woburn, MA were clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with both comfort and style. I highly recommend the hotel and will definitely return.

Thanks to Mick at the front desk for such great service. Hilton usually sets a good standard, but I felt Mick went above and beyond. I was a bit unsure about staying so close to I93, but highway noise wasn’t an issue at all. During my multi-day stay, I didn’t think about it once. The location makes getting on and off the interstate easy, and there’s plenty of parking. A couple of gas stations, a McDonald's, and a public multi-purpose trail are also an easy walk away. This was my first stay at a Spark franchise, though I’ve stayed at plenty of Hilton brands for business and personal trips. It felt like good value, and things were generally clean and well kept. My spacious room had a king bed with a wireless device charger, a sofa bed, and a handy work desk that could be moved and wrapped around my workspace. The breakfast selection was smaller than at other Hilton properties, but that was accurately stated in the description.

The bathroom was very clean, and the front desk and breakfast staff were nice. The room had few amenities, though. Bring your own water cups, seriously, they don’t even provide small plastic ones. They did give us bottled water. There was no coffee maker in the room, but one was conveniently available in the breakfast area downstairs. No printer or business center either, and the desk chair was a metal patio chair, so there wasn’t a comfortable place to sit. Breakfast was just about the lowest quality you could get: bagel-like items, cereal, coffee, milk, boiled eggs (at least they had salt and pepper), and dry, less-than-fresh oranges. It was sufficient. I might have seen packets of instant oatmeal too. The biggest problem was noise. We could hear neighbors’ text alerts, conversations, TVs, and footsteps through the walls, and even people walking around in rooms above us. Once everyone finally settled down, we slept well. The Boston area is expensive, but I didn’t think this hotel was worth the price. I was surprised it was a Hilton. It was very clean, and the staff deserve credit for that.

We had a really good stay. The room was clean and the bed was comfy, and they left us welcome snacks and bottles of water. There were also two wireless charging ports on the nightstands, which came in handy.
