Bel Air Motel

The rooms have been renovated and were clean, so I’d recommend the place. I did miss having a luggage stand and a table, though, and there could’ve been one more chair besides the recliner.

The location was out of the way, but it worked since I was already passing through. I had a microwave and fridge, and the room itself was nicely remodeled, with a large TV and a comfortable bed. I stayed in the back and didn’t have any noise trouble. I look forward to stopping here again.

The air conditioner and heater were tucked near the bathroom, so the main part of the room didn’t warm up very well. The road noise was the bigger problem for me. I could hear everything outside and had trouble falling asleep. There’s not much the hotel can do about that, but light sleepers should keep it in mind. The room was very clean, with no lingering cigarette smell like in other NS rooms. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were good, and it was nice to have a real fridge with a freezer.

I stayed for three weeks. The people there were really nice, and the place was clean. The beds were medium, and the shower smelled like mildew. Avoid room 125 if banging doors will bother you. I called it the sex room because you can hear everything through those very thin walls, with doors banging on both sides.
