Hilton Garden Inn Woodbridge

Hundreds of people came to welcome the monks during their Walk for Peace, so parking was a challenge. That wasn’t the hotel’s fault, and the team did a fantastic job trying to accommodate everyone. It was an opportunity of a lifetime for me, and I’ll never forget it. Everyone we met was helpful, courteous, and kind, and the staff worked incredibly hard that weekend. Thank you to Hilton in Woodbridge and all your wonderful staff. You were wonderful!

Tiffany at the front desk suggested a date night here when I called at 11 p.m. on 2/6 to book a room for the Walk for Peace on 2/7-2/8/2026. My husband and I live only half an hour away, but we took her advice, and it turned out to be a great idea. Our room was ready when we arrived early, with a lovely view of the front of the hotel. The king bed and pillows were comfortable, and both the room and bathroom were spotless. I’ve stayed at pricier hotels that weren’t half as nice. The staff managed the huge crowd in the lobby and outside during the Monks’ arrival that night and the next morning so smoothly, all while caring for the Monks, their staff, and volunteers. Everyone was smiling and eager to make our stay good. After the crowd left, we enjoyed breakfast at the hotel. Christopher, the Assistant Manager, Tiffany at the front desk, and Claudia, our breakfast server, were especially kind and went out of their way to help. They treated us like family while respecting us as guests. Tiffany, you made our date night perfect. Thank you! The flowers arranged as a peace sign in the lobby were beautiful.

The room was otherwise pretty clean, and the staff seemed nice. I got upgraded to a nice suite, but its living area had an HVAC unit so loud I couldn’t leave it on. The bedroom unit was quieter, though still a little loud, and it didn’t ruin my stay. You’d think a premium room would be maintained.

My son came along on this trip for the first time, and even he, despite working in the service industry himself, was impressed by how kind and caring everyone was. Last night I arrived exhausted after a long day of travel and had a special request. Rosa Fernandez quickly figured it out, recognized my Diamond Member status, and made sure everything was right. That kind of attention is rare, and it’s why I stay loyal to Hilton. I’ve been coming to the Hilton Garden Inn in Woodbridge for years and have never had a bad experience. Chris has helped shape that culture. I’ve known him for four years, and every visit shows the warmth, professionalism, and consistency he brings to the team. He’s one of the best hotel managers I’ve met. Thank you, Rosa and Chris, for making us feel valued and at home every time.
