Our home was flooded, so we needed a place to stay at 3am. The receptionist and host were so kind and understanding, and really friendly. The room was clean and smelled nice, and the beds were clean and comfortable. I only wish I’d asked for extra pillows since I like sleeping propped up, and the bathroom fan was loud. Still, it’s hard to beat a room at the $62 rack rate plus a $10 pet fee. I’d book here again if I need a room for the night.

The rooms are a good size without being huge or fancy, and they’re nice and clean. The TV is a good size, and the refrigerator and microwave are decent. The nightly price is reasonable. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

We booked two nights at OYO in Woodland, WA, for Memorial Day weekend 2026 through Expedia. Arriving later in the evening, we weren’t let inside. The desk clerk spoke to us through a window with holes in it and demanded another $50 in cash for what she called “incidentals.” She wouldn’t explain what that meant, only saying that everyone pays. I pointed out that she had acknowledged our booking and asked for a key, but she refused without the extra cash. We asked for a refund, which they agreed to, but later they refused and claimed we were a “no show.” We went to the Best Western down the street. After we told an employee what happened, they said they’d heard similar stories from other customers about the OYO in Woodland. Expedia shouldn’t be associated with this terrible company. They’re liars and thieves, and demanding that extra money felt like extortion. Avoid this place at all costs, and don’t be tempted by the low prices.

After three weeks of traveling, we spent one night here. The bed was huge and comfortable, and the room was very clean. It was frustrating trying to get information over the phone, but once we arrived the stay was pleasant and the front desk staff were nice. Being pet friendly was a big plus. It’s the best budget friendly hotel we’ve stayed at.

The first person I met, who I’m guessing was the owner, was quite friendly. That helped keep things from turning confrontational when I was told a different price at check-in than the amount on my printed reservation. They wouldn’t honor the reservation price. The room was somewhat clean, but the smell was horrible, like urine, and got worse when the heater came on. Expect a noisy night too: there’s the constant freeway roar, cars coming and going, and doors slamming.
