We stayed this spring with our two young boys, who especially loved having access to the creek. The treetop suite worked perfectly for our family of four, thanks to the pullout couch. The grounds felt very European, in the best way, and we’d happily come back in summer or fall. The hotel's easy access to town couldn’t be beat, and its laid-back feel was exactly what we wanted. Everyone at the Tannery was friendly and helpful, making it feel like home. The coffee was a nice touch.

It’s a nice place, with high ceilings, heated bathroom floors, and a lovely location. The coffee bar by reception is a good touch too. A few things bothered me, especially as a light sleeper. The AC seemed to be disabled at night. I turned it off for an hour to let the compressor restart, but it still didn’t work until about 10am the next day. The room also had no effective shades, so early sunrise at this time of year made it bright at 5:30 am. And the floors and walls are thin. The downstairs neighbors weren’t particularly loud, but I still woke up when they came back in during the night. If you’re a light sleeper too, you might want to reconsider staying here, especially at this price.

Waking up to nature and the sound of the on-site waterfall was peaceful. The room itself was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and quiet. It’s easy to walk to happy hour, dinner, and a live music bar, right in the heart of Woodstock. I’d absolutely recommend it as a nice place to stay. Wouldn’t change a thing!

Every window looked out to a perfect view of the waterfall, and the room was beautiful with lovely decor. The complimentary coffee was delicious, and shops and restaurants were so close. Corey and Rachael on staff were kind and helpful!

What a welcoming experience. I loved the hotel’s setting and its quirky, fun decor, which was very nicely done. The staff were great, and the coffee bar was superb!
