The Wooster Inn

Ken and his staff took the stress out of planning our wedding at The Wooster Inn. They explained expectations upfront, disclosed all prices before billing, and carried out the plan we worked on together flawlessly. We only had to arrive and decorate. The staff set up chairs for the ceremony, cleaned the outside patio under the tents, and made sure our guests never waited for food or drinks. The thing that stood out most on our wedding night was how happy the staff seemed. People were smiling, some servers sang along to the music, and the whole atmosphere felt fun and lighthearted. I never felt like we were inconveniencing anyone, even when they helped us gather our things and clean up at the end. I'd choose The Wooster Inn again in a heartbeat. The campus is beautifully maintained and feels comfortable yet professional. The restaurant is clean, the food is amazing, and the staff are always pleasant.

We've found the wait staff very attentive, and I've never seen smoking here, despite what another review mentioned. The menu changes fairly often and has offered more variety, including vegan dishes and vegetables. There is a first-class menu, a full bar, and fine wines, making this Wooster's most versatile dining spot. The setting is a beautiful classic building next to a golf course. The dining room is good for fine dining and wine, the patio is lovely and relaxed for lunch or dinner when the weather is nice, and the Pub is fun any time. Excellent, highly recommended.

We were there for a wedding, and the dinner service was amazing. A gluten-free friend hadn't realized the chicken was breaded. When her husband asked about it, the manager offered to get her something else. She declined, but he brought her a steak dish anyway. Couldn't ask for better service. We'll go back for dinner.

The dining room looked attractive, and the service was acceptable, but lunch was so bad I probably won't return. My bean burger patty was burned, not just the bun, and came with one piece of lettuce and a tomato slice. It wasn't worth $12. The homemade chips were soggy and didn't seem fresh. I even wonder if they were made that day. My wife's chicken sandwich was just as unacceptable. We should have sent the food back, but we were short on time. We ate really bad food, and I won't be back.
