Courtyard

This was a horrible stay with our two grandbabies. I paid for two queen beds, but was told the booking was for a king and pull out sofa. They blamed the “3rd party” reservation and put us in a room with beds low to the ground. After that, we were moved to an uncleaned room, then moved again, where the TV only showed a still picture and the Wi-Fi didn’t work. The woman at the counter kept bringing up my “3rd party” reservation. Completely unacceptable. Everything was costly too. A small bottle of cranberry juice was $8.50, which seemed like a 100% markup from the airport, and parking cost extra without being noted anywhere. Horrible experience.

Suzy and Alicia at the front desk made our stay a lot easier during a hockey tournament. We had 60+ kids aged 10-12 running around the halls, with nowhere near enough parents trying to keep them in line, so I know we weren’t ideal guests. The staff opened the meeting room so the kids could play knee hockey in one place and helped us gather in the common areas. I usually don’t review hotels when I’m not on vacation, but the service at this Courtyard was second to none. Hopefully their heads have stopped pounding!

Some rooms have a connecting door for families, and sound carries clearly from the next room. I could hear quiet giggles, so it made me wonder what else might come through. 🤔😂 Still, I think a lot of the negative reviews are a bit picky and pretentious. This is a great hotel with comfortable beds, helpful staff, and plenty of convenience. I don’t know why people complain.

The staff were really friendly, and our room was spacious and clean. We stopped here for one night on the way to Boston, and the sofa bed meant five of us fit perfectly. The sink faucet was frustrating, though. Its stream sits too close to the edge, leaving no room for your hands; washing them over the sink splashes water everywhere. There’s no complimentary breakfast, which was disappointing when we were on a tight schedule.
