Staybridge Suites Grand Rapids SW - Grandville by IHG

The full kitchen in my room was a nice extra, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I had a good time outside by the fire pit, too. I asked them to turn it on, and they were happy to. They even had a free taco dinner the night I stayed. The room itself was quiet and clean, with a comfy bed, nice pillows, good water pressure, and cold AC.

A few restaurants are within walking distance, and breakfast was better than the usual free hotel spread. My room had a small kitchen with a medium-sized fridge, dishes, glasses, pots and pans, silverware, dish soap, and a scrubber. The bar-height table and chairs were nice, and the room was clean and stocked.

The pool was a little chilly, which is my one small gripe about an otherwise perfect stay. My partner and I found our first visit to Staybridge Suites relaxing and easy from start to finish. The staff were great, the manager was super friendly when checking how breakfast was, and the breakfast itself tasted good. We also loved the incredible hot tub, the cozy room, and all the chances to earn points.

The staff worked hard to make our visit enjoyable, and we did have a good stay overall. Our first room had a dirty couch, so Stephanie kindly moved us to another one. The suite's separate living area sounded nice, but its furniture was uncomfortable, with unsupported cushions, and looked old. I wouldn't pay for that kind of suite again.
