The staff at the front desk were helpful and the service was great. We were pleasantly surprised while traveling through to check days in Taber. The room was very clean, with comfortable beds and really soft pillows. We’ll stay again next year.

We couldn’t get a ground-floor room because none were cleaned and available, and they wouldn’t offer a refund. The room’s bathroom and heater did work, at least. Breakfast wasn’t really continental: just stale, prepackaged items and a broken waffle maker. Coffee only showed up after we asked, and breakfast had shut down by the time we were leaving. I wouldn’t recommend this for a destination stay, just an emergency stop.

We stopped for the night when bad weather disrupted our family’s overnight drive to a ski trip. Someone answered the phone on the third ring at 1:45 am, and breakfast was ready by 6:00 am so we could get back on the road early. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, and rates decent. My one complaint is that the rooms and hallway were quite cold, and the heaters took a while to warm everything up.

Sam was pleasant and helpful at quick, easy check-in, and you can see they’re working hard to gradually upgrade the place. This family-run, non-chain spot was a nice discovery for us. The price was great, and the location suited our route as snowbirds and was handy for sports venues. Our room was clean, bright, and welcoming, with a comfy bed and a perfect night’s sleep. Wifi worked well and the TV was a good size. The layout was a little awkward, but we could park at the far end in accessibility parking, which made loading and unloading easy. Breakfast was more than enough for us: fresh hot coffee, cereal, fruit, and waffles. The windows could use cleaning, and the room and bathroom corners could get more attention, but that wasn’t a deal breaker. We recommend it and will definitely be back.
