Holly Tree Resort

The service was wonderful, but water in the lovong area makes a very loud sound, like a garage disposal, and you can hear it from the other room. Also, one staff member was rude and rolled her eyes at us with children around. That’s not a good example for kids at a family friendly hotel. Corporate off knows about her, and they’ve received complaints from other quest too. Rude and disrespectful.

The small apartment/townhouse we were assigned had no bath tub, and its Ac unit was loud. We had to move to one of their hotel rooms in the main building.

The lack of an elevator made getting around with bags inconvenient, and even getting clean towels meant going downstairs to ask the front desk. There’s no room service or hospitality, and using the old, dirty-looking washing machines costs extra. Our stay was uncomfortable and didn’t feel worth the price. The bed seemed twin sized, barely enough for one person, let alone me and my 6’4” husband. The room felt more like a nursing home or hospital than a place to stay. It was somewhat clean, but the bathtub was so old it had turned yellow. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. You can find better.

The staff were so kind and accommodating, and clearly wanted to make our stay perfect. Our rooms were very clean, homey, and well appointed. There were two rooms and two bathrooms, plus plenty of kitchen supplies and appliances for leftovers or small meals that don’t need an oven or cooktop. They’ve paid attention to what guests need and to the details. We’ll wholeheartedly recommend it to friends and family!
