This was a terrible stay. After booking through Expedia and checking in, I found the room very hot and humid with the A/C off and a mold smell. The walls had what looked like food splattered on them, and the bathroom ceiling had moldy patches. I’m allergic to mold and know the smell. At the office, the man said the black patches were paint. He gave me a key for the room next door, but it was just as hot, had the same smell, and the A/C was also off. I found a Trojan condom box on the TV stand and visible mold on the bathroom ceiling there too. There wasn’t as much as in the first room, but it was still obvious. Under the mattress, I found mold. I checked beneath the first mattress too and surprisingly found only a little dirt. I went back to the office, and the man told me to contact my booking agent for a refund. Expedia said the hotel would issue it, so when I explained what the hotel had told me, the agent offered to call them. I watched the office man answer and say “yes” several times. Then he angrily told me my refund was on its way. When I asked for the owner’s number, he refused, and said there was no manager when I asked for that number. They made zero effort to make things right. Don’t waste your time here.

We left right away after getting a refund, which the host gave us without a problem. The lobby smelled awful, and he made a comment to my spouse about not screaming too loud. Our non-smoking room smelled terrible too, with black dirt and lights falling out of the ceiling. After reading the reviews, we think it was probably mold.

Black mold was visible all over the room and in the bathroom, and the ceiling had holes. It smelled like something had died under the beds. This is a shitty hotel. Drive 10 minutes farther and stay somewhere else.

The room was filthy, with holes in the wall, and most of the lights didn’t work. Nastiest hotel I’ve ever seen.

I’m a truck driver and stopped for the night. After showering and watching a little TV, I went to bed in room 232 upstairs, which the front desk guy, Rick or Richard, had given me. Around 2:45am, I felt a sharp bite on my elbow. It was a bed bug running through the bed, and I got it on video. I took pictures of the bite on my elbow, and found another bug under my shirt. I was upset and went to the front desk. They offered another room, but I said no and wanted to wait for the owner to tell him what happened. The man who came out said he wasn’t the owner. I videoed our conversation so he couldn’t say I’d done or said anything negative to him. I had to sleep in my truck until it was time to leave. I’ll contact someone about this when business hours start.
