Best Western York Inn

We booked and paid for two rooms with queen beds, and were promised those beds, but ended up with full-size beds instead. The front desk woman was very rude to our family and used profanity. She also wouldn't let us speak with a manager or give us a number to contact one. A bad experience, and I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Getting to our room was a bit of a trek from the elevator. We had to go through three doors and different hallways, which was awkward with luggage. Aside from that, it was a decent stay. The shower was nice, breakfast had the usual hotel options and was pretty good, and the person who checked us in was very friendly. They even gave us toothpaste when we'd forgotten ours.

The place was quiet and away from the crowds, which I really liked. The staff were helpful and friendly, the rooms clean, and the pool was great. Breakfast was delicious too. It's a beautiful hotel, and I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Two women working at night were so helpful during our stay, but the rest of the experience was awful. An older woman at the desk was unprofessional with my mom, used profanity, refused to give her name or the manager's number, and threatened to call the police instead. The hotel smelled strange, like cat pee on the first floor and puke on the second. The furniture was broken, the beds were bad, and the towels were horrible. It felt like a waste of money in such a nice place in york.
