Dockside Guest Quarters & Restaurant

Room 110 was its own unit facing the water, with an awesome view and a refrigerator, though there was no coffee maker. The hot water was great. Coffee is served in the main house at 6 am, and breakfast starts at 8. The food was awesome, and breakfast service was great. We couldn’t eat at the restaurant because it was closed while they prepared for a wedding. I later found out there’s no maid service for a four-night stay, only for stays of five nights. They did bring fresh towels whenever we asked.

We had a great time, especially at the Dockside Deck, where we met some lovely people. The morning view over the harbor entrance was excellent, and breakfast was a nice start to the day, with fresh muffins, breads, eggs, and bacon. Everything was fantastic. We’ll return.

The location and grounds were both superb, and our charming room was exquisite. The day manager said it was her favorite room for a couple, and you could see the Atlantic from bed. On our last morning, I stepped onto the deck before sunrise and watched the sun come up over the Harbor. We also loved the adjacent Dockside Restaurant, and the breakfast was excellent. Everyone on staff we met was pleasant and helpful, and the other guests seemed to be enjoying themselves. My wife and I had only booked two nights last week, deciding at the last minute to head to the Coast ahead of hot weather. Dockside Guest Quarters turned out to be a lucky find, and we were fortunate to get a reservation. They’re almost fully booked for the rest of summer. We’d like to return before they close for the season, but they’re full, at least for a room for two. We’ll definitely come back next summer for a longer stay.

I love the mini-condos and the different styles here. Dockside Inn has a wonderfully authentic atmosphere, gorgeous views, a delicious homemade breakfast, and a great restaurant right next door. The views are especially beautiful in Fall.
