Ramada by Wyndham York Harrisburg Hershey

It's right by Route 30 East and West and close to Hwy 83 South and North, with restaurants and plazas within walking distance. There's plenty of free parking, and the place is clean and non-smoking. They clean rooms every day, breakfast is free, and the staff are nice.

The staff at the Ramada were really friendly and helpful, and they made our one-night trip pleasant enough that we didn't complain directly. But the room was cold when we arrived, the heater smelled like old cigarettes, and its floor unit filter hadn't been cleaned. There was no hot water at the sink or shower, and the toilet was unstable. We could also hear doors and voices all across the floor. It worked for one night, but wasn't what we expected from Ramada Inn.

The location was convenient, and the atmosphere felt welcoming and peaceful. Our room at Ramada in York, PA was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, so it was easy to unwind after a long day. The staff were friendly and professional, always ready to help, and the amenities were great. I'd recommend it for a pleasant, comfortable stay and look forward to coming back.

The rooms are "construction special" at best, and getting a receipt has become a fight between Trivago and this Ramada. I checked in through a kiosk because there was no front desk clerk around apart from at breakfast and checkout. In my case, the online agent "couldn't" find my confirmed Trivago payment. The kiosk gives no receipt, so you can't dispute the charges unless you show your credit card transactions. The only good thing about this hotel is its location.
