Eddie made our stay in June 2023 feel perfect. He shared loads of tips for getting around Yosemite and great dinner recommendations. The place itself is lovely, with a spacious room, our own outdoor seating, and a shared area too. It’s a quiet, scenic spot, close by car to Oakhurst town centre for food and other amenities, and within good driving distance of Yosemite. We’d absolutely recommend it. Thanks to Eddie and family!

We’d happily stay here again if we return to Yosemite. Eddie knows the park and the whole region inside out, and his advice was excellent. The lodge is tucked away in the forest, with marvelous morning views, and our room was really comfortable. Breakfast supplies were included, with waffles, coffee, maple syrup, and peanut butter, and there was a place to cook. It’s only 20 minutes from Yosemite’s south entrance, which is usually less crowded, and around 1 hour 20 minutes from Yosemite Valley. This was our favorite place we stayed in California. Eddy is passionate about Yosemite and was eager to share tips to help us make the most of our time in the park. The lodge is surrounded by nature, well furnished, and extra clean. Great place to stay while visiting Yosemite. Thanks for everything, Eddy. I hope to stay with you again when I come back for the Half Dome hike 😜

Our bed was very comfortable, and everything was really clean. The house and room had everything we needed, and the setting was quiet. It’s about a 20-minute drive to the park entrance next to Mariposa Grove, and 1 hour 20 minutes to Yosemite Valley. The host was friendly and welcoming, almost like having a personal guide. He shared lots of insider tips about the park and surrounding area, so we didn’t need to go to the visitor center. Loved it, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking to explore Yosemite NP or spend time in nature!

Eddie and Evergreen Haus made for a great stay. The place was cozy and really nice, and the location put us close enough to everything we wanted to see in the area. Eddie knows Yosemite inside out and went well beyond what we expected, helping us choose places to visit and things to do based on the time we had. I couldn’t have asked for a better place or experience.
