There’s a Walmart about three miles away, plus a gas station and a couple of fast food places within walking distance, so the location is handy. For the price, the room was pretty good. My main issue was the towels: they were old and stained, and the floor towel had several black and yellow spots. There wasn’t WiFi, which wasn’t a huge deal, though it would’ve been nice. The sink pressure may have been an issue only in my room, but it was so weak that rinsing soap off my hands took about three minutes. Still a good stay, with a couple of things that could be better.

Parking was simple, and it was easy to get around Sun City, Glendale, and Phoenix from here. My room was clean, the bed was fine for a good night's sleep, and check-in was quick and professional. The staff took care of everything without hassle, which I appreciated on a work trip. Motel 6 Youngtown, AZ – Phoenix – Sun City isn't a luxury hotel, and it doesn't claim to be. It's an affordable, practical place with what I needed: a clean room and somewhere to reset. If you keep expectations realistic, it gets the job done for a short stay or work trip. I'd stay again.

We were charged about $62 a night after taxes over Christmas. I stayed December 24 to December 26 with my German shepherd, and both rooms were clean and comfortable. The TV in the first room didn’t work, so I called the front desk. A staff member came right away, confirmed she couldn’t fix it, moved me, and checked that the replacement room’s TV worked. I travel by car with pets through the year, and I like that Motel 6 has no carpets on the ground floors and accommodates people traveling with animals. I’ll stay there again.

We come here with our dog when visiting my parents, who retired to Sun City, and it’s the closest place for us, so the location is perfect. There’s no continental breakfast, but Dunkin Donuts next door helps, and QT is handy for snacks. We’d paid a little extra online for a room with a fridge, which wasn’t there at check-in. We had small kids and needed somewhere to keep their milk and yogurt. The front desk said the preferred room details hadn’t come through with the online booking. I asked if they could store the food, and they said yes. They later brought us a fridge and microwave with the milk and yogurt already inside. Much appreciated.
