Stagecoach Trails Guest Ranch

We had the ranch to ourselves for our family reunion by using the buyout option, and it made for a really fun time with the people I love. There was plenty to keep everyone occupied, and we especially enjoyed the long rides and relaxing by the pool. The meals were generous, the rooms were clean and nicely decorated, and the staff were very accommodating with my requests.

My daughter was thrilled with the riding, while I was happy just relaxing at this amazing ranch way out in the middle of nowhere. The family who run the place are so nice, and the food is delicious. We had a brilliant time. Highly, highly recommend it.

Riding into the mountains with Mae and hearing about the area and the old gold mines made for such a special day. I won't spoil it, but book it. The other activity I was unsure about was shooting, but Tristan and my husband talked me into trying it here, and I ended up loving it. Tristan was a fun person to talk with around the campfire and a safe, reliable instructor. It was a dream come true for my husband, and I'm glad Tristan helped make it happen. We spent seven nights at STGR for our honeymoon, traveling to the other side of the world, and would do it all again in a heartbeat. We wanted something we'd remember for years, and being so far removed from work, phones, and everyday life was even better than we'd hoped. Riding every day helped clear my mind. On the first day Nico took us to see the giant cacti, which were massive and so cool. Claire guided most of our rides. We're beginners, and she never made us feel inexperienced. She could tell whether we wanted to chat or ride quietly, and was happy to go at a walk, trot, or lope. Chef Elvis took such good care of us with delicious meals. It was lovely not to have to think about what to eat, just sit down and enjoy. We're not usually a couple who looks for socializing on vacation, but here conversation happened naturally around the dinner table, with everyone joining in as if we were at home. It was an unforgettable trip, worth every penny. We'd love to return one day when our son is old enough to enjoy it too.

You get two rides a day with your stay, and the home cooked meals were filling and good for kids. We also had fun exploring on the bikes and spending time with the goats. There were so many baby goats while we were there! If an authentic desert dude ranch is what you're after, this is it.
