The surprise highlight was the complimentary breakfast, especially the eggs made to order. It’s a step above what most hotels offer. The price was good, and the parking lot seemed secure. The pool looked inviting, though in February I wasn’t interested; it’d probably be appealing in warmer weather. My room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The climate control worked well without making much noise, and I got a great night’s sleep. The 24-hour reception was handy, and the lobby had great mid-century decor. There were some baked goods and a small section of convenience items for sale. HoJos still has the goods. The location is convenient for lots of food options, a few bars, and other retail areas.

The rooms were clean and a decent size, and the location made it quick to get to a grocery store or fast food. For the price, it wasn’t horrible. But there are a few things missing in the rooms, and there was no coffee for at least four days of my stay. The rooms didn’t have coffee makers, and the regular one in the lobby wasn’t working. I’d have given this place 3.5 stars if they’d had coffee in the lobby or the rooms.

Good value and a great location. There’s a gym, popcorn is available free every evening, and breakfast in the morning is simple, with eggs. The rooms have lots of mirrors, though they’re a bit dated, with cracked walls and sinks 😅.

Honestly, this motel’s a great value and in a good location. The rooms are huge, with a fridge and microwave, and the bed is comfortable with plenty of pillows. The AC works, and the room smells nice without that mildewy smell or an overpowering cover-up scent from cleaning supplies. I’ll definitely come back if I’m in the area.

The location is near several places to eat within walking distance, and though it’s about 4 or 5 miles from the highway, the extra distance is well worth it. All the employees were kind and helpful. My room was great, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower pressure was excellent. Breakfast was good, with eggs cooked how you like them. I’ll definitely stay again when I’m in town.
