Baymont by Wyndham Zanesville

They said over the phone the pool was heated, but it was freezing when I got there, and they know it isn't working. I paid $600 for this stay. If you want somewhere to swim and have fun, I'd avoid this hotel.

The air conditioning got nice and cold, which was a plus. The bed, though, was hard, and that kind of mattress isn't for me, even if some people like a firm one. There was mold and water damage in the bathroom, with paint slapped over it and drips down the shower wall and around the vanity. Outlets were awkward too, none easy to reach by the bed, and the one behind the mattress didn't even have a cover.

The location worked well, close to food and fuel, and there wasn't any I-70 construction during my review. After a long day traveling alone, I noticed my first room's deadbolt didn't work and felt uneasy. The front desk quickly moved me to another room without a hassle. The staff were kind and helpful, thanks for making me feel safer.

I only needed a room overnight. It was somewhat clean, but the bathroom needs a lot of attention. The new sink faucet barely clears the counter, so water sprays onto it.
