The room was nice, but the sheets weren’t very clean. We spent one night in the upstairs room with my boyfriend. Dinner and breakfast were included in the price. Dinner, meat with quinoa and salad, was good; breakfast was pretty poor, just bread with spreadable cheese and jelly and a banana. The room was in the attic right over the bar, so kitchen noise was pretty loud until 1 am and again after 7:30 am. Otherwise, a good experience.

We didn’t get a meal as described. They had beer, but we brought our own wine. Still, this was the best night of our trip to Uruguay. It’s rustic but clean, and the location was fantastic.

Clean, friendly, and full of incredible music and life. The restaurant menu is spot on, with delicious salads and all the drinks you need, nothing useless and nothing to add. Just perfect, with the “doce segundos de oscuridad“ view 💚🇺🇾👍🏿

Those hammocks made it easy to spend an evening doing absolutely nothing and not feel bad about it. The hostel sits between the dunes and the beach, and the cozy 16-bed dorm was a quick way to meet people. We were an older couple, so the hosts seemed unsure what we were getting into at first, but they looked after us wonderfully. Dinner was home-cooked and à la carte each day, with Argentinian red Malbec, and the breakfasts had sweet or savory baked goods and coffee. After three days and four nights, saying goodbye felt fine at the time. Thinking about going back to our usual jobs now hurts.
