The worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Please don't go!
I stayed there with my two young daughters. The room felt stuffy and smelled musty, with spiders, cobwebs all over, and several other insects. The walls weren't painted, and the place needs cleaning. It's a basic accommodation, but it also lacks care and proper service for guests.
The bathroom was okay, and they supplied sheets and changed the bath towels. But the room badly needs maintenance and better service. Three of the five outlets were in places we couldn't reach, and the other two were nearly or actually broken, which could cause a short circuit. The mini-fridge barely cooled and smelled bad, and the floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in at least three months. The owner never offered us the Wi-Fi they supposedly have. It's an option people may keep using because it's the first one available, but I wouldn't return. It's tolerable for a couple of days, though my stay a few days ago left me wondering whether anything in Uruguay ever moves forward. A bit of effort could make this better.
The mattress was comfortable, and sheets and towels were supplied. There was an enclosed parking area open to the air. The accommodation is simple and clean, with hot water for showers from a thermos, a fridge bar, and air conditioning.
The owners were hospitable, and the bathroom was clean. The rooms are quiet and small, with a little fridge and an old CRT television whose picture was decent. There isn't much room to move between the beds and furniture. They work for one or two nights, but I wouldn't stay longer, and I'd bring my own sheets. Three people paid around two thousand pesos.
