BDL - beach design loft

We spent New Year’s here with our family, including a 7-month-old baby and a 2-year-old girl. We weren’t young people partying or causing damage. The cabin was flimsy and falling apart, with old appliances and very little investment, yet it cost $450 USD a night. Mosquitoes came in through the floor. The wood-burning stove in the living room banged like a drum set when it rained, and people in the neighboring house sounded as if they were having a conversation with us. If there was wind, the cabin wobbled. We had no electricity, there was no bed set up for my daughter, and the living room had no air conditioning, so it was an oven. When the hot water ran out, we had to wait 20 minutes before anyone could shower again. There wasn’t even a microwave, so we had to heat coffee in a small pot. On top of all that, when my husband tried to negotiate the price because of the problems, we were threatened that the owner would break into the house and leave everything outside. The most shocking part was the owner. Her name is Alexandra or Alejandra, and her profile is on Airbnb and many other platforms. She has many properties made of wood or containers in La Juanita.
